Quality and Environment

Bordignon was the first Italian spring manufacturer to obtain certification to UNI EN ISO 9002 back in 1995. In 2002 our Quality System was adapted to UNI EN ISO 9001:2000. More recently, in 2007, our Environment Management System was certified to UNI EN ISO 14001:2004, this time by a different body: Bureau Veritas.

Certification to UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 was the result of our company’s determination to ensure customer satisfaction and to work to a certified environment management system as well, extending the logic of continuous improvement (which has always been central to our way of working) to the environment too.

In 2009 our Quality System was adapted to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008.

Bordignon guarantees that all production processes with any impact on quality or the environment are adequately identified, planned and managed under controlled conditions, according to documented procedures, in order to fulfil the requirements, objectives and aims of product quality and environmental protection.

By performing all our production processes in-house, we can monitor the quality of our products by means of in-production checks as well as finished product quality control.

Bordignon is committed to the constant satisfaction of all partners through continuous improvement. This commitment can only be fulfilled by using quantifiable measurements to understand the level of effectiveness and efficiency achieved by our processes.

Our Quality System therefore defines responsibilities and methods for monitoring and measuring all our processes and the services we provide. The resulting measurements are then analysed and compared with objectives so that any necessary improvement actions can be initiated.
